Color Inspiration Series
November 22, 2016When searching for flooring options, you might see LVP or LVT listed with all the rest. What is LVP? LVP is Luxury Vinyl Planks, which can come in tile (LVT) applications as well. Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring is a floating floor system, while Luxury Vinyl Tile is a glue down product. Both systems have simple installation processes, therefore, saving on labor costs. We may cringe at the thought of the 1970’s vinyl that is stored in the back of our minds, but today’s luxury vinyl options can truly imitate natural surfaces like wood or stone. Below you will see an example of one of our most recent LVP installations.
Or check out the LVP that we installed in the hallway of this luxury apartment community (below). With all the heavy foot traffic in this hallway, LVP was the way to go. It is so easy to maintain and absorbs sound better than many other choices. Luxe Floors, Inc. surely knows how to bring out the luxury in flooring.
Below is the flooring carried into their mail room.
LVP is a great option if you are looking to have the same flooring throughout your home, apartment community, senior living facility, etc. Unlike wood, it can handle the moisture from bathrooms and laundry rooms, so you can give your space a seamless flow with LVP. Today’s LVP/LVT is definitely worth the consideration!
